A passion for shoes, extensive knowledge of the fashion business and the desire to create something truly unique with a Brazilian character and essence has taken Carolina Sadowski to launch her new venture in the design world: a luxury shoe brand called Carolina Pagano.

A native of Sao Paulo, Brazil, Carolina graduated in 1996 with a degree in Product Management from one of Sao Paulo's most prestigious fashion institutes. Soon after that, she began her successful career working with the design teams of local brands like Sandra Senamo and Argentum, until she was hired by Brazilian designer Tufi Duek to lead the Export segment of the brand, who counts as clients Barneys New York, Saks Fifth Aenue and Bergdorf Goodman.

Perfectionism and curiosity, two of Carolina's strongest qualities, called the early attention of Tufi Duek himself. She was appointed Director of Operations for Tufi Duek International in Brazil after only eight months at the design house. As Director of Operations, it allowed her to oversee the handling of production in Brazil and sales in New York, giving her an opportunity to improve her knowledge of both sides of the business.

In 2003, after 6 years with the company, Carolina left Tufi Duek to get married and moved to the US, where she began her research to transform a dream into reality: the launching of her own collection. A shoe admirer since childhood, Carola, as she is called by close friends and family, has always been intrigued by the construction of the shoes, the manufacturing of the heels, the materials, colors and shapes used in every pair she acquired throughout the years. Now the time has come for that curiosity to pay off. Carolina enters the shoe business with the eye of an expert, manufacturing pieces that reflect her style and are a perfect blend between the high quality she is accustomed to and the sensuality of her homeland. A combination destined to succeed.

The Business side of Fashion has always intrigued Juliana Babin. A native of Brazil, she graduated with honors from two of the country's top colleges, double majoring in both Fashion Design and Business Administration, setting the foundation for a long successful career in fashion sales and marketing.

Prior to joining Carolina Pagano, Juliana founded and successfully ran a fashion consulting business in her native Bahia, Brazil with clients ranging from Tufi Duek to Lerario Beatriz in the US. Her earlier years in fashion also included Sales positions at NY designers Jean Yu, Christopher Totman and 7 years as a New York based Director of Sales for Brazilian Designer Tufi Duek. The years at Tufi Duek introduced her to designer Carolina Sadowski, building a strong working partnership that has now lead to another successful collaboration.

As a value based entrepreneur investor, Bryan Sadowski invests in both startup companies as well as undervalued businesses with long term potential. His investing philosophy is to invest capital with companies that have strong management, strong fundamentals and a long-range value based outlook.

Prior to his current investment partnerships, which includes Carolina Pagano, Bryan, a graduate of Boston College with a BA in Mathematics, worked for a number of high tech startups where he held a variety of positions overseeing teams of engineers in the US, Canada and Central America. It was through these experiences that Bryan learned the art of successfully growing organizations.

In his spare time, Bryan is an avid reader of ancient history and philosophy as well as an amateur classical guitarist whose wife Carolina and 2 year old boy Teo are forced to listen to as he attempts to serenade them.
